Congratulations to Elizabeth Dissel - our November 2023 Volunteer of the Month! Elizabeth received several nominations for her willingness to always step in to help with a smile and she will receive a premier parking space for the month of November.  

GET TO KNOW OUR VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH: Elizabeth Dissel

Family & Pets: Louis and I have 4 daughters all at St. Susanna for this one last special year. Hadley - 8th grade, Elsa - 5th grade, Annie - 3rd grade and Nora - 1st grade. We have 2 puppies named Lola and Lucy.

Where do you volunteer at St Susanna? I absolutely love being involved in the school. I was previously on the PTO board for 6 years, and was a PTO committee chair before that. I am back to a chair position as co-coordinator for the junior high dances. I coordinate the recess equipment inventory. I volunteerin the library, recess, book fair, help with bulletin boards, coach, I was on the planning committee for 8th grade volleyball night and any and all classroom and school wide events that I can.

Why do you love St Susanna? I love St. Susanna because it is an amazing community. We wanted our kids to be a part of a Catholic School that embodied our family values and St. Susanna is the perfect fit for us. As a family we are very committed to using our God given talents and abilities to give back to our community. We seize any opportunity we can to be involved and to help out. We know our kids are surrounded by families and staff that will watch out for them and care for them while they are here at St. Susanna.
